Michael Daniel Arevalo Obituary-Identified As Victim of Gunshot
On the night of Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 10:28 pm, Deputies were dispatched to the 5600 block of Wakita Dr., in rural Edinburg, Texas, in response to a reported shooting incident.
Upon arrival, Deputies discovered an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics on-site pronounced the man deceased.
At the scene, Major Crime Investigators and Crime Scene Specialists are actively conducting interviews with witnesses and gathering evidence to identify the suspect(s).
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Michael Daniel Arevalo from Edinburg, Texas.
