Trey Martin Obituary-Cause of Death
The Gulf Breeze community is in sorrow over the passing of the city’s parks and recreation director, who died on Monday night.
Trey Martin had served as the City of Gulf Breeze’s parks and recreation director since June 2023 and had been appointed interim director in 2022.
City Manager Samantha Abell released a statement on Thursday addressing his demise:
“We were informed by Trey Martin’s family a short time ago that he died Monday night. Trey has been on personal leave for a couple of months. Trey’s work record was stellar. He was an integral member of our team. Everyone who worked with Trey liked him. His work family is devastated. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and everyone who knew and loved Trey.”
The cause of death is yet to be disclosed. Our condolences to the family of the deceased.
