Renee Gray Obituary-Identified As Shooting Victim
The senior woman who was shot while passing through Lily of the Valley Corner and subsequently succumbed to her injuries in the hospital on Thursday afternoon has been provisionally identified as Renee Gray.
Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander has verified that the elderly woman was traveling in a vehicle with two other women and a young male toddler when an assailant emerged from the bushes and fired upon the vehicle.
Tragically, the elderly woman, who was the grandmother of the toddler, sustained fatal injuries, while the toddler is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
With the passing of the elderly woman, the murder count for the country in 2024 has now reached 10, as confirmed by Commissioner Fernander.
