Rohntavious Janavo Hayes Obituary, Shot and Killed at The Park apartments on Southwest 20th Avenue
The Gainesville Police Department has officially identified the man who was fatally shot at an apartment complex on Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, 27-year-old Rohntavious Janavo Hayes was shot outside his residence at The Park apartments on Southwest 20th Avenue. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Family members shared with TV20 that Hayes was a devoted father to his four children, and his loss will be deeply felt by many in the community.
As of the latest update, no arrests have been made in connection with the case, and the police investigation is ongoing.
