The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing the inquiry into the tragic car collision that took place on January 3, 2024, near the 149-mile marker on Interstate 79.
The individuals confirmed to have lost their lives in the incident are Zaquan George, aged 21, and Margaret Erdie, aged 19, both residents of Morgantown.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
